Often, when a result was published can be more important than its popularity or relevance. This specialized search view pulls 100 results from Google, then arranges them by date on an interactive (and dynamically scaling) timeline.
Viewing results related to news, events or anything else that has happened over a period of time.
Use your mouse to adjust the date range at the top of the view by resizing the gray bar. Drag the gray bar to go forward or backwards in time.

Being able to search from the most recent publications on an issue I'm interested in, then go to older documents is very useful. However, I'd really like to see the timeline go further back than it seems to be capable of right now. Great visual research tool.nnAlso, sometimes so may sites are overlapped it's difficult to see what the small preview box says. Some method of differentiation might prove useful. Just saying.nnOverall, I am recommending Viewzi and, especially, this particular view at a prodigious rate. In fact, I think I'll tweet about it again right now.

If the entries can be resized to zoom in and out at a particular day that would be great.rnrnToe-Knee
It only goes back to Nov. 2007. I'm working on a 100 year time-span for a documentary and would love to have that information accessible. someday.rnrnStephon
